Gackt Merchandise-
For starters, I agree with the people who's opinions have been posted. On merchandise especially. There are so many people who make me feel like a real jerk just because I haven't the ability to buy Gackt-san's CDs and everything. I don't think it's right to put down on fans who can't buy this kind of stuff. It's not fair to them and Gackt would be unhappy to hear all that goes on about this one little thing, if he hasn't already. Certainly those that can't would like to support him, but some things simply can't be done. It's not fair to say, "You're not a true fan because you don't buy his merchandise." Not to change the way people think, but this is merely my opinion.

Gackt's Personal Life-
It might just be me, but if I hear one more claim "There's NO way so and so is dating Gackt- he's MINE" I will scream. Gackt-san doesn't know you. He acknowledges you- as a FAN. Gackt's not going to walk into your house one day and proposition you for sex. Get used to it, people, it's not going to happen. Gackt-san is a HUMAN (vampire!^^). I.E.- He has a free soul like everyone else. He should be allowed to love whom he wants. And yet, these people who say, "He's MINE!" go out the next day and write yaoi fanfiction. Ah, but that's not something I'm going to talk about, though. Gackt's not going to ask you out- that's the way it is. Sorry.

"Fandom-"
I believe that you're not NOT a fan of Gackt if you can't see him live, can't buy his merchandise, can't whatever the hell. The important thing is that you respect him- that you like his music. Music comes first in my opinion. And Gackt has very good music, at least to me. Those that say, "He's so gay," because he's prettier than your average man, (it is true...) have no knowledge of Gackt or his music. Then we see fans dissing other fans due to whatever- you're a fan if you like Gackt, the music and the man. Or even just the music. Maybe even just his character. A fan's respect, love, and idolization make a...well, they make a fan. ...I'll shut up now. ^^
